Bato Dardani (sundoi 206 – 176 para Krishtit)

Bato Dardani (sundoi c. 206 – 176 para Krishtit) është një mbret Ilir i Mbretërisë Dardane. Bato ishte biri i Mbretit Longari dhe vëllai i Monunit II i cili sundoi pas tij.Bato luftoi së bashku me Romakët kundër Maqedonëve gjatë Luftës së Dytë Maqedonase. Bato është i njohur për përdorimin e avancuar të taktikave luftarake kundër Athenagoras. Bato u bë një kërcënim i madh për Maqedonasit, por pas përfundimit të luftës marrëdhëniet dardano-romake, së shpejti u dobësuan.

Bato ështe i pari person i njohur me këtë emër. Ai është i njohur në historiografinë moderne si “Bato i Dardanisë”,^[1] dhe “Bato Dardani”.^[2] Në historinë moderne të librave, ai është më së shumti i indeksuar si “Bato, djali i Longarit” (nga latinishtja: Bato, Longari’ filius dhe “Bato, princi i Dardanisë”.
